Our Services
As an attic insulation contractor serving New Braunfels, we handle the whole attic job, from a simple top-up to a full tear-out. Pick the service that sounds like your attic, or let us tell you after we look.

Already have some insulation? If it's dry and sound, we add to it until the whole floor reaches R-38 to R-49.

Blown-in insulation for open attics with room for depth. Fiberglass settles very little, so it keeps its coverage.

Made from treated recycled paper. It reaches the same R-value with less depth, which helps in lower attics.

Open-cell or closed-cell foam sprayed under the roof deck. Worth a look when your ducts and AC unit sit in the attic.

Wet, moldy, pest-damaged or crushed insulation comes out first, so new material goes onto a clean attic floor.

We close gaps at the top plates, around wire and pipe holes and at the hatch before insulating, so attic air stays in the attic.
Need more than the attic? We also install wall insulation for finished and open walls and garage insulation for New Braunfels homes. If your home sits over a crawl space, our crawl space insulation service helps keep the floors above it more comfortable.
Local homes
Upstairs bedrooms that stay warm after sunset. An AC that runs most of the afternoon. One side of the house that never feels like the other. When that sounds familiar, the attic is a good place to look first.
Two-story homes are the most common culprit. Heat rises into the upper floor, and the attic sits right on top of those bedrooms. Any thin or leaky spots up there show up first in the rooms you sleep in.
That's why we measure first. We check depth and coverage across the whole attic floor, look for gaps where attic air gets in, and show you what we find before we recommend anything.

How It Works
We measure depth and check condition, air leaks and ventilation.
We explain what we found and which option fits: top-up, removal or air sealing.
Each step is priced on its own, so you see exactly what you're paying for.
We air seal first where needed, then install evenly to target depth with the soffit vents kept clear.
We check the coverage with you and clean up the work area before we leave.

“Had my attic insulation done by Frank and his crew, and and tbh I’m really happy with the results and how it turns out. A day after I reached out to them Frank came out to check the attic and gave me an estimate, and just two days later, the crew was back to get the job done. The attic was really in rough shape before, but it looks so much better now. Everyone worked hard and got everything done in a timely manner. Thanks Frank, and thanks to the whole crew for the great work”

“Frank and his team were great to work with from start to finish. They came out to check our attic, took some pictures, and gave us an estimate pretty quickly. The following week, they returned and installed the blown-in insulation. They did a great job and cleaned up everything afterward, even the small bits left in the street. The price was reasonable, and the whole experience was smooth... Definitely recommend them!”

New Braunfels is in Climate Zone 2A, where the 2021 IECC calls for R-49 in the attic, or R-38 when it covers the whole floor at full depth. Our target is R-38 to R-49, and we pick the depth to suit the material once we've measured what's there.
It might. A newer attic can still be thin or uneven in spots, especially near the edges or where other trades have worked. We measure first, and if your attic is in good shape, we'll tell you.
If what's there is dry and sound, a top-up is usually the better value. Insulation that's wet, moldy, pest-damaged or crushed should come out first, followed by air sealing and new insulation.
Not right now. As of October 2026, NBU's rebate list covers items like AC checkups, thermostats, HVAC upgrades and solar, but not attic insulation. NBU does offer a free assessment of your energy and water use.
Blown-in fiberglass or cellulose suits most attics with an open floor and costs less. Spray foam is applied to the underside of the roof deck, costs more, and makes the most sense when ducts and the AC unit are in the attic.
That comes down to the size of the attic, how easy it is to reach, and whether removal or air sealing is part of the job. We'll give you the expected schedule along with your quote.
Vermiculite is a loose, pebble-like insulation, usually gray-brown or silver-gold. The EPA's advice is to assume it may contain asbestos and not disturb it. If our crew finds it, work stops and we point you to an accredited asbestos professional.
Yes. We serve New Braunfels homeowners from our San Antonio location. We book estimate visits and install days ahead, so the crew arrives ready to work.
